These types of programs are usually holistic and promote healthy lives by providing nutrition, exercise, and sauna therapy.

Unfortunately in the Northeast of the US many of these alternative drug rehabs are non-existent because of the heave psychiatric influence. Traveling out of state to enter a drug rehab facility is usually more effective because one of the first forms of treatment is changing a person’s environment. Addiction treatment centers should focus on the individual’s needs rather than a group. Therefore most programs that offer group counseling or group therapy fail at getting to the root problem for an alcoholic or drug addict.
