Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment?

What type of inpatient drug rehab is the most effective and why should it include detox, counseling, cognitive therapy, and life skills. These are all valid questions and will be addressed in the post. Most outpatient rehab programs are of no use at all. They are just something that a person suffering from drug or alcohol addiction can do to keep the family members happy in a way that they may believe that he is getting help or doing something about it. Outpatient never works and the end result is a person who is back on drugs and alcohol.

So when asking about a drug rehab why should it be inpatient. Not to mention is a non 12 step rehab the best? Most drug and alcohol rehabs that do not use the 12 steps are the most effective type of rehabilitation because they do not believe that addiction is an incurable disease and they do believe that addiction can be overcome.

Remember that drug rehabs that provide effective detox, counseling, life skills and a therapeutic environment are essential for a successful recovery. Also finding a residential inpatient facility is always best. A non 12 step facility always has the highest success rate.
